"Malory towers in the fifth" by Enid Blyton it's very good it's recommendable to anyone who is interested in happy endings and a little bit of suspense and mystery. Story is about Darrel and her friends in their fifth form at Malory Towers. Malory Towers is a boarding school and form is class. each year, every class gets a project to do and this year they have to do the Christmas entertainment and after some discussions they choose what to do........ A pantomime of Cinderella. as Darrel is very good at writing, she is the writer, Irene is good with music so she helps with the sound and Belinda likes to sew and do many creative things, so she helps to the settings. Cinderella is a very popular story written by Charles Perrault. Many girls wants to play the role of Cinderella especially two girls Gwendoline and Maureen who are a bit selfish. But the quiet Mary lou gets the part. Other friends like Alicia gets important roles too. Moira😒 also known the head girl of the fifth form try to take charge she is very bossy, takes the pantomime a little to seriously and causes a lot of arguments even making Alicia quit for a while. then a serious problem starts, someone start sending mean, secret letters to Moira. this makes everyone uneasy and tries to find the one behind this mess. The twist was crazy, because most probably the culprit was in their form right??NO.it was wrong, it was actually a first former June, Alicia's naughty cousin the damage that June had caused was so severe that the headmistress of Malory Towers was going to expel her. Now even though Moira is a little difficult to handle she stands up for June and saves her from being send back home. And in the end the pantomime ended a great success. Once again this book is very good and one of the best books I have read.
