Review of Ruskin Bond:the Girl In The Train

Author: Ruskin Bond

Publisher: Rupa Publication India Pvt.ltd.

My Review:

It's a short story about a blind narrator's belief, ironic encounter with the blind girl on a train journey, where both pretend to see, creating a poignant movement of human connection built on imagined beauty, ending with the twist that neither revealed their blindness to the other until a new passenger points it out, highlighting themes of perception, illusion, and fleeting moments.

My Comment on this Book:

It is a sweet nostalgic read.Bond's storytelling is simple yet captivating.A lovely, quick tale of memories and human connections.
