Review of Verity

Author: Colleen Hoover

Publisher: Grand Central Publishing

My Review:

The story begins with Lowen Ashleigh, a struggling writer who is given an unexpected opportunity to complete a famous book series after its original author, Verity Crawford, is left unable to write following a tragic accident. What seems like a promising chance soon turns into something far more disturbing when Lowen moves into the Crawford house to gather notes for the books. There, she discovers an unfinished manuscript that reveals dark and shocking truths about Verity’s life, her marriage, and the tragedies surrounding her family. As Lowen spends more time with Verity’s husband, Jeremy, things become increasingly complicated and dangerous. What initially appears to be a simple writing assignment soon becomes a twisted psychological nightmare, making this one of the most intense and unsettling experiences for the reader.

My Comment on this Book:

This book keeps you completely hooked till the very end, making it impossible to put down. The ending is dark, shocking, and so powerful that it makes you question everything, especially whether Lowen was truly the protagonist or actually the villain. The letter at the end changes the entire perspective, leaving readers confused and unsettled, like a cliffhanger with endless possibilities. Even after finishing the book, it stays in your mind and makes you question people, situations, and reality
