Author: Author: Rachel Renée Russell

Publisher: *Publisher - Aladdin (Simon & Schuster), 2017.*

My Review

*About the Book:*
This is Book 10 of the Dork Diaries series by Rachel Renée Russell. The story is about Nikki Maxwell, who writes funny diaries with lots of doodles.

In this book, Nikki is excited to help at a local animal shelter. She falls in love with the cute puppies there and wants to adopt one, but there are many funny and dramatic problems at school, with her crush Brandon, and her enemy Mackenzie.

*My Review:*

*What I liked:*
- Super funny and cute - the puppy drawings are adorable.
- Easy to read and relatable - feels like a real teenager's diary.
- The doodles and fonts make it fun, not boring like a normal novel.
- Good message about taking care of animals and being responsible.

*What could be better:*
- The story is a bit predictable if you have read the other Dork Diaries books.
- Mackenzie is always mean in the same way.
